Why install wheel spacers?

A wheel spacer is a tuning measure that increases the track width, i.e. the distance between the wheels and the axle. This changes the appearance of your vehicle. The wheels are closer to the wheel arches, making your vehicle appear wider and sportier. The increased vehicle contact area reduces the lateral inclination, resulting in improved cornering stability and directional stability. A wheel spacer may be necessary if new rims with a different offset are fitted. The offset is the distance between the center of the rim and the contact surface of the rim on the wheel hub. A wheel spacer can reduce the offset and prevent the rims from rubbing against the brake system or the bodywork.

Aluminum wheel spacers

Eibach wheel spacers are special spacers that increase the track width of your vehicle and thus improve its appearance and handling. Eibach is a renowned manufacturer of suspension components known for its high quality and performance. The Eibach Pro-Spacers are made of high-strength aluminum and, depending on the vehicle type, have either a TÜV parts certificate or an ABE.

Steel wheel spacers

Hofmann is a well-known German manufacturer of aluminum and steel wheel spacers. The wheel spacers on offer are suitable for a wide range of vehicle types such as SUVs, off-road vehicles, US vehicles, vans and motorhomes. They are made from high-quality aluminum or steel and have a TÜV parts certificate or a TÜV strength certificate, depending on the model. Steel wheel spacers have a higher strength and wheel load. They have been specially developed for vans and motorhomes with higher axle loads.
