The whitewall rings on offer are suitable for most steel rims and can be fitted without removing the wheels. In conjunction with our rim rings or our wheel trims (moon caps, but not the chrome-plated version), the whitewall rings are held securely in the rim.If you have already fitted rim rings/wheel caps from other manufacturers to your vehicle, we cannot guarantee that the whitewall rings will fit perfectly. We therefore always recommend using our complete sets, which you can also find in our online store.Due to the TÜV clearance certificate supplied, registration of the whitewall rings is not necessary. Please compare our offer with the products of other suppliers. Make absolutely sure that the whitewall rings are not clamped between the tire and rim, as is the case with some suppliers. This is not permitted for road traffic and is extremely dangerous.Notes: The whitewall rings are compatible with tires that do not have additional edge protection vulcanized on. This is the case with some flat or low-profile tires (e.g. 225/40R15). Approval regulations:Thanks to ECE, E11, R87 and RL identification / test mark 100% in Europe-wide road traffic approval and registration-free.Thanks to the approval mark on the lens of the daytime running light, no documents (such as test reports, ABE etc.) need to be carried along with the vehicle documents.Only lights like these, with the ECE-87 and RL markings on the lens, are approved for road use as daytime running lights, everything else is ONLY a marker light!Installation:This universal LED daytime running light & fog light installation set replaces the factory-fitted fog lights. They are fitted to the existing mounting points on the bumper. Simply replace the fog lights with the daytime running lights (with the installation material) and reconnect the cables according to the connection instructions.If your vehicle does not have original fog lights, you will not only need a corresponding cover with a cut-out at the front for the fog lights, but also the on/off switch for the fog lights. You can also find this set here in our shop.Connection:The daytime running lights are supplied with an H11 plug (the illustration above shows an HB4 plug). This plug is suitable for some vehicles (e.g. VW, Audi, Seat, etc....). If this is not suitable for your model, our H11 plug must be replaced by a vehicle-specific plug. Unfortunately, we do not offer this. You also have the option of disconnecting the plugs and connecting the cables.The control unit included in the scope of delivery regulates the switching of the lights.  The daytime running lights light up automatically when the ignition is switched on and the vehicle lights are switched off. They are not a substitute for dipped headlights at dusk or in the dark. The daytime running lights switch off automatically when the vehicle lights or fog lights are switched on. On vehicles with xenon headlights, the headlight plus must be connected from the daytime running lights to the parking lights!Vehicles with Can-Bus systemToday's newer generation vehicles are equipped with so-called Can-Bus or LIN-Bus systems, which test the light, display and indicator functions using a low, continuous test current. To ensure that no error message is displayed after the installation of our daytime running lights + fog lights and the omission of the standard fog lights, we can supply a load resistor together with the lights, which is connected to the connection cables of the fog lights. This allows you to fit the set to your vehicle without any faults. However, the wattage is never utilized by the headlight, but only about half. Otherwise the LED's would burn out at the higher temperatures or the LED's would discolor strongly. The LED's would therefore only have a significantly shorter lifetime. This results in the partially different measurement results between the nominal power and the real, measured wattage.
