They are fitted to the existing mounting points on the bumper. Simply replace the fog lights with the daytime running lights (with the installation material) and reconnect the cables according to the connection instructions.If your vehicle does not have original fog lights, you will not only need a corresponding cover with a cut-out at the front for the fog lights, but also the on/off switch for the fog lights. You can also find this set here in our shop.Connection:The daytime running lights are supplied with an H11 plug (the illustration above shows an HB4 plug). This plug is suitable for some vehicles (e.g. VW, Audi, Seat, etc....). If this is not suitable for your model, our H11 plug must be replaced by a vehicle-specific plug. Unfortunately, we do not offer this. You also have the option of disconnecting the plugs and connecting the cables.The control unit included in the scope of delivery regulates the switching of the lights.  The daytime running lights light up automatically when the ignition is switched on and the vehicle lights are switched off. They are not a substitute for dipped headlights at dusk or in the dark. The daytime running lights switch off automatically when the vehicle lights or fog lights are switched on. On vehicles with xenon headlights, the headlight plus must be connected from the daytime running lights to the parking lights!Vehicles with Can-Bus systemToday's newer generation vehicles are equipped with so-called Can-Bus or LIN-Bus systems, which test the light, display and indicator functions using a low, continuous test current. To ensure that no error message is displayed after the installation of our daytime running lights + fog lights and the omission of the standard fog lights, we can supply a load resistor together with the lights, which is connected to the connection cables of the fog lights. This allows you to fit the set to your vehicle without any faults. Alu-Schelle passend für alle Lampenbügel, Frontschutzbügel und Überrollbügel mit einem Rohrdurchmesser von 63mm bzw. 63,5mm. Ideal für die zusätzliche Befestigung von Scheinwerfern, Rundumleuchten etc... Sehr stabile Ausführung mit 50mm Breite und 105mm Gesamtlänge. Die Schelle hat eine Bohrung von 10mm, so können Sie die Scheinwerfer oder Rundumleuchten leicht befestigen. Zusammengehalten werden die beiden Teile der Halterung mit einer Innensechskantschlüssel. Der Gesamtdurchmesser der Schelle beträgt 65mm. Mit der im Lieferumfang enthaltenen biegsamen Kunststoffeinlage wird ein Durchmesser von 63,5mm erreicht.
