The installation is very easy and can be done in a few minutes, because the cargo cover is already pre-assembled and delivered to your home. The mounting brackets are directly embedded in the cover. The assembly, disassembly and opening work without the use of additional tools. The folded cover can be conveniently and easily secured to the vehicle with the safety straps that are also provided on the cover. The panels are made of high quality black textured aluminum and filled in the middle with a special foam compound. The panels are connected with a robust aluminum linkage. The cargo area covers can be used with "underrail" cargo area trays without any problems: The "underrail" plastic tray closes at the lower edge of the tail lift. The "overrail" cargo area tray rests on the loading edge, holes must be cut in the plastic tray to install the cargo area cover.
